"The trail clinic is the best value for the money in the area. It is a full day of both ground work and riding with both group and one-on-one instruction for only $75. Obstacles mimic show trail courses as well as real- life obstacles, such as going through a tangle of branches, walking over a bridge and through a ditch. The clinics are fun and low stress, and address each rider’s goals, which participants specify ahead of time on their registration. Technique is based on natural horsemanship with the philosophy of balancing trust and respect through stress and recovery approaches." ~ Sue McMurray "After attending Katie's clinics I always leave understanding (as opposed to knowing) my horse better which leads to using the techniques she shows me correctly and for the correct reason." ~April Pfaff “Before my daughter took Katie’s clinic, she was timid around her horse. But after Katie’s clinic, my daughter clearly felt in charge of her horse. I especially like Katie’s approach to ground work. It changes both the horse and rider!” Julie Schneider (Mom) "I just wanted to tell you how glad I am that I decided to make the drive from Meridian ID to Pullman to attend your Clinic! I was a bit apprehensive bringing my Mustang gelding, thinking he would be a total idiot and spook at everything. I was amazed that with your guidance, we actually made it through all the challenges except for those scary pop cans in a plastic bag!! What your clinic did for me was to give "me" confidence and helped me understand what I need to do to help my horse understand what I am asking of him. I am thankful that you take the time to really explain and to help individuals when they need it. I can't wait for your next Clinic!" Thanks again for everything! Kristi Bowers |
